This label will become mandatory on Dec. 31 2018 for shipping fully regulated Class 9 Lithium Battery / contained in and packed with equipment shipments.
Pressure-sensitive labels conform fully to the guidlines issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) (49 CFR). Labels measure 4" x 4" (100mm); they are made of pressure sensitive peel-off heavy weight coated paper with fade-resistant UV-inks and are available in rolls of 500. These DOT labels also conform to international standards ICAO, IATA, and IMDG. The labels are mandatory for all domestic and international shipments of hazardous materials.
